What I Am
I've been working in the real
world
for about 2 years now.

What I Want
I am looking for a company
where I can express my creative energy, grow as a graphic
designer and collaboration with other great minds.

Behold!
An ad campaign for
childhood obesity.

Michael Osborne, a graphic
designer that I look up to
and respect, told me that
I could get a design job by
simply showing this
piece of work.

This hasn't worked to my
advantage yet...

Concept = Good Design
I was taught to always try and be
conceptual with my work – not to
design something simply because
it's pretty or something that I
prefer
. Granted that through this
teaching now I find conceptualism
to be preferrable, but that must be
the way the cookie crumbles.

Speaking of which, have you seen these ads? They state that "obesity in little children is a big problem".

Pardon me, but did they put a play on words in an obesity ad? Bad joke...thank you Captain Obvious!
